De Lepelaar is in the middle of nature, what should I bear in mind?
De Lepelaar lies in the middle of a beautiful but vulnerable dune area. We ask you to keep this in mind during your stay, so please walk on the surfaced paths as much as possible. Sections of the site that are cordoned off may not be entered.
Digging, felling, pruning, clearing and/or sawing is not allowed. Flying stunt kites, cycling, scooting, inline skating, skateboarding and sliding down the dunes (dune sliding) are also not appropriate because of the vulnerable dune terrain. Football is only allowed on the camping fields and the small pitch by the Kids Club.
Open fires are prohibited. Barbecuing is only permitted with a gas or electric barbecue and a bucket containing 10 litres of water beside it. You can also use the barbecue area by reception, where charcoal is allowed. Ask at reception for details.
The pitch always stays entirely 'natural', without fences, posts, screens, boxes, paving slabs and so on.
