All our facilities at a glance
Facilities
We make your stay at Duincamping De Lepelaar as easy as possible. Take a look at our facilities here.
Car-free campsite
Because the campsite is so special and vulnerable, you may only move around the site on foot (or by wheelchair). Cars are therefore not allowed, and neither are mopeds or scooters. Bikes, scooters, inline skates, skateboards, go-karts and the like may only be wheeled across the site by hand.
Parking
You can park your car, motorbike or moped free of charge in one of the five car parks on the campsite. The entrances to these car parks are by gates C, F, H, N and P. The car parks are not locked and are accessible 24/7. You can also park alongside the campsite on the grass verge next to the Westerduinweg (the verge of the Westerduinweg is not owned by the campsite).
Placing your camping unit
Your caravan, folding camper or luggage trailer is towed to and from your pitch by our experienced staff using a small tractor, and positioned on the pitch for you.
WiFi in the eetcafé
A holiday is a chance to get away from the bustle of everyday life for a while. On our extensive campsite you stay just a little bit wild, right in the middle of the North Holland dunes. We embrace our unique setting and offer WiFi only at reception and in (and on the terrace of) the eetcafé. It is free to use, and access codes are available at reception.
When you use our WiFi, the user agreement applies. You will find it here.
Eetcafé De Kleine Stern
Settle in for a bite and a drink
Holiday means relaxing and taking it easy. In our eetcafé you will find all sorts of tasty dishes, plus freshly baked bread rolls every morning.
You can take a seat at one of the tables (on the terrace), or order takeaway. And of course you are welcome to enjoy a coffee or a soft drink on our terrace. Dogs are not allowed inside the eetcafé, but they are welcome on the terrace.
To avoid waiting, you can phone your takeaway order through in advance.
You will find the opening hours in our De Lepelaar app and on the door of De Kleine Stern.
Fresh bread rolls & breakfast
Fresh bread rolls every day
Do you also like to start your holiday with a proper breakfast? We are happy to provide the fresh bread rolls. You can come to us every morning from 8.30 am to collect freshly baked rolls and your favourite newspaper!
The rolls are baked to order. The easiest way to order is through the De Lepelaar app, which you can download from the app store on your phone. Click here for more information about the app. Paper order forms are also available at reception and by the bread display in De Kleine Stern. You can post your completed order form in the green letterbox on the outside wall of De Kleine Stern until 6.00 am at the latest.
Or would you prefer a full breakfast?
We go one step further to get your day off to a good start. For € 9.50 per person you can have breakfast in our eetcafé with bread rolls and toppings of your choice, a free-range egg, a cup of coffee or tea or a glass of milk, and a glass of orange juice.
You can order your breakfast (preferably) until 6.00 am on the same day using the breakfast order form, but we are here for you without an order too. At busy times we may only be able to offer the breakfast service to order.
Bike hire
The extensive network of cycle paths in our beautiful region is perfect for an active day out or a trip to the beach. Not able to bring your own bikes? You can hire bikes at reception without booking in advance. Besides bikes we also have handcarts and a dog trailer. And we are happy to give you some good tips for an attractive cycle route.
Lovely cycling and walking routes start right at De Lepelaar. Use the Route.nl app for easy GPS navigation. Prefer something on paper? Buy the pocket guide at reception.
You will find the current rates in our De Lepelaar app.
For children
Toilet blocks & laundry
Spread across the extensive campsite you will find five heated toilet blocks, with underfloor heating in spring and autumn for extra comfort. The buildings are cleaned several times a day.
The facilities have everything you need:
- spacious showers
- private washing cubicles
- washbasins with cold water
- toilets
- washing-up and vegetable washing areas
- cold and hot water taps
- bathrooms for children and babies
- a special family bathroom (in one building)
- chemical toilet disposal
- freezers for cool packs
- washing machines and dryers (one in every toilet block)
To use hot water you need what is called a sepcard . You can get one when you check in at reception for a € 5.00 deposit. With this card you can then shower and wash up free of charge.
There is an extra charge for washing and drying. For this you also need a sepcard or washing and drying tokens, depending on which building you use.
Buildings 1 (field C), 4 (gate M) and 5 (gate P) work with the sepcard.
Buildings 2 (field F) and 3 (gate K) work with tokens only. These are also available at reception.
The rates for the washing machines and dryers can be found in the De Lepelaar app.
Children under 7 may only use the sanitary facilities when accompanied by an adult. Dogs are not allowed in the toilet blocks.
EV charging point
Always sure of a full battery: there is a double charging point for electric cars in the car park by gate H. Check here whether your charge card works with this charging network.
