De Lepelaar was founded in 1950 by De Waard, of the well-known tent brand. Since 1992 De Lepelaar has been part of the proud family business Ros Leisure Group, now with the second and third generation of the Ros family at the helm. Day-to-day management of De Lepelaar is in the hands of park manager Stephen. Together with his enthusiastic team he does everything he can to make your stay unforgettable.

Quiet, space and simplicity are our most important facilities. Of course you will find what you need to cover the basics here, but beyond that it is entirely up to you. Go off on an adventure or take time to reflect, whatever you need. You are offline and, if you like, partly off-grid. So switch everything off and recharge only yourself. You have plenty of room around your pitch and every spot is naturally different. Poke your head out of your tent or DuinHut in the morning and see, without any distraction, what a wonderful place you have ended up in. A place, incidentally, that we like to look after well. There is a reason De Lepelaar holds the highest certification of the Green Key label for sustainable and socially responsible business.

There is plenty to do around the campsite. First of all, you are on the beach in no time to laze about, read, do (water) sports or go for a walk. The surrounding area is great for walking and cycling too, with days out to museums, animal parks or an amusement park. Callantsoog has welcoming cafés and restaurants and lovely beach pavilions. But at the end of the day you leave the bustle behind and head into the dunes for this unique camping experience.
